General Needs 1342 Mission
An average of 22 veterans commit suicide each day. General Needs, which is a 100% volunteer nonprofit, is raising awareness about the 22. During the months of November and December, General Needs will donate 1342 (22 x 61 days) pairs of boots and 8,030 (22 x 365 days) pairs of socks to veterans in need from Maine to DC.
In October I am running the Marine Corps 10k, marathon, and ultramarathon to raise money for this amazing project. My goal is to purchase 100 pairs of boots for this project. Each pair of boots costs $22.00. Please consider helping me reach my goal and help veterans in need. This small token of appreciation may save the life of a veteran.
