Hello! This year some of my loved ones and I are running the Boston Marathon on behalf of the Gavin Foundation. The Gavin Foundation is an organization that supports youth and adults suffering with addiction and substance abuse in the greater Boston area. I have lost two of my uncles to addiction and understand the cost it can bear to a family. Everyone knows someone who has struggled with or currently struggles with addiction. It is not an easy challenge to overcome. Your support of the Gavin foundation will help others that are struggling gain the resources that they need to live a healthy and sober life. We are passionate about supporting this cause and hope that you will consider donating and following along as we train for the Boston Marathon!!! #RunningforRecovery

Olivia's Boston Marathon Fundraiser
Hello! I'm Olivia Muse, a graduate in the Class of 2020 at Boston College. I was geared up and ready to run in April of 2020, but those hopes were dashed by the pandemic.

I would not be able to run this race without a bib from The Gavin Foundation, which is a non profit substance abuse treatment facility based out of South Boston. The pandemic emphasized the need for organizations like the Gavin Foundation, both for people who struggled to remain sober in isolation and those who realized they had a substance abuse problem. Needless to say, but they deserve every penny you can donate!
