I'm throwing another birthday fundraiser. I've been asked to help fundraise for the continuing construction of an orphanage and women's and children's hospital in Cairo (The Oasis of Pieta and Bambino Gesu of Cairo), affiliated with the famous Papal children's hospital in Rome, the Bambino Gesu.

A donation will count as an RSVP to the black tie invite-only outdoor party I'll host on June 19th (details in invitation). Any donation will count and is greatly appreciated, though donations of upwards of $100-150 would be incredibly helpful!

Donations will be made through the U.S. registered 501(c)3 Gaudium et Spes and are tax deductible.

The Oasis of Pietà Orphanage seeks to offer children in need a more suitable alternative, providing a safe environment for them to grow and protecting them from any form of violation or abuse. This initiative intends also to protect children from any form of violence, assault, physical or mental brutality, neglect or disregard, maltreatment or exploitation. It seeks to guarantee the serenity, well-being and respect for the rights of every child.

Although owned by the Coptic Catholic Church in Egypt, the Oasis of Pietà Orphanage – in respecting the religious affiliation of the children – welcomes all children without any discrimination based on religion.

We are throwing a black tie Christmas party at Bijoux, 149 Mulberry St, on Tuesday December 5th, with Rose provided by Quinn Rose.

To get on the list, all we ask is that you make a donation of whatever you wish to help us raise money for the charitable works of the Order of Malta and the Gaudium et Spes Foundation, which include the Holy Family Hospital (for mothers and babies) in Bethlehem and the Bambino Gesu Orphanage in Cairo.
