Gabrielle's Angel Foundation

We are SO EXCITED to announce that on May 4th, 2025 we will be riding in our SECOND 40 Mile TD Bike Tour through all five boroughs of NYC!

Siblings Becca Morris, Eric William Morris, Colby Morris, and his girlfriend, Caribel Colon will be cycling through the city to raise awareness and money for blood cancer research on behalf of an organization that is very dear to us, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. Our goal is to raise $3,000 for the foundation this ride, but we're keen to blast through that- please help us get there!

Caribel and the Morris Siblings will be riding in honor of their late father, Larry Morris who we lost in 2022 after a long and brave battle with leukemia. The Morris kids grew up riding bikes with their dad, one summer even going on a family vacation bike trip from Maryland to Pennsylvania and back! A lifelong athlete, Larry enjoyed staying active through biking, making this Tour a very special opportunity for the Morris Family to celebrate him and what he loved while raising funds for a great cause. Any support is greatly appreciated!

Gabrielle’s Angels was founded in loving memory of Gabrielle Rich Aouad who sadly passed away at the age of 27 after her battle with leukemia. The purpose of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research is to encourage the development of more effective therapies for patients with leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers. Since 1996, Gabrielle's Angel Foundation has awarded grants totaling nearly $45 million in global giving.

On May 4, 2025, I’ll be riding 40 miles through all five boroughs of New York City with Team Gabrielle’s Angels in the TD Five Boro Bike Tour.

I’m not just riding for the thrill (though it’s going to be epic) — I’m riding to raise funds for Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation, which supports life-saving cancer research. Every dollar raised goes directly toward finding better treatments — and one day, a cure. I'm riding for the family members I've lost to cancer and the friends who have battled it.

To ride, I’ve committed to raising at least $750 — and I need your help to get there!

Whether you can give $10 or $100, every little bit helps bring us closer to a cancer-free future.

I've ridden the 5 Boro Bike Tour four times. After my last ride in 2017, I told myself I was done, I'd ridden it enough times. Then I almost died of lymphoma. So now, after a near 2-year tussle with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma, I ride again, and am doing 45+ miles to raise money for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. A clinical trial drug helped save my life, and those kinds of life-saving things only happen with scientific research. This foundation helps fund research into fighting cancers similar to mine. Ergo, your support goes towards saving lives like mine. Please consider donating whatever sum you can and help save another parent, sibling or child. I set the goal at $2,500, but I want to raise way, way more than that.

Hi everyone! This Sunday, May 7, I will once again be biking 40 miles in the 2023 TD Five Boro Bike Tour through all five boroughs of NYC to raise awareness (and money!) for blood cancer research.

I am biking on behalf of a nonprofit organization that is very dear to me, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, where *92 cents of every dollar* goes directly to researchers working on a cure. My goal is to raise $1,000, so whether you have $5 or $500 to spare, let’s help Gabrielle’s Angels fund the next big breakthrough!

Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation was created in loving memory of Gabrielle Rich Aouad who sadly passed away at the age of 27 after her battle with leukemia. Gabrielle’s Angels lives on as her legacy, purposefully driven by a small team working directly with top medical advisors to fund research in search of a cure for this cruel disease.

More information about the ride: The Five Boro Bike Tour is an annual recreational cycling event in New York City. Conducted on the first Sunday of May, the 40-mile ride includes over 30,000 riders. The route takes riders through all five of New York's boroughs and across five major bridges.

Mr B himself Matt Bartlett will be cycling through the city to raise awareness and money for blood cancer research on behalf of an organization that is very dear to us, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. Our goal is to beat what we raised in 2019 ($1,700), but keen to blast through that- please help us get there!
