We’re excited to launch “Ignite the Spark”, a special candle fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness and support for children’s mental health. Each 9-ounce fragranced candle— “Ignite Your Spark”—is available for a $20 donation to FYIdaho.

Candles can be picked up at the upcoming Resource Fair on May 17, 2025, or at Boise Brick House during business hours (8 am–5 pm) the week after. No shipping is available. The Boise Brick House isn’t just an after-school program. It’s a lifeline.

For many teens in our community, the Boise Brick House is the only place they feel safe after school. It’s where they grab a meal, get help with homework, talk with a caring adult, and just be themselves. It’s a space filled with laughter, music, mentorship, and belonging.

The Brick House is in danger of closing its doors.

Due to unexpected state and federal funding cuts, we need to raise $30,000 to keep our youth programs operating through the 2025–2026 school year. Without community support, dozens of local high school students will lose access to the relationships and resources that help keep them connected, stable, and hopeful.

At the Brick House, teens find:

• Academic support and tutoring to help them succeed

• Mental health resources and trusted adults who listen

• Life skills coaching that prepares them for the future

• Meals, snacks, and community when home isn’t always safe or stable

• A safe and welcoming environment after school

We believe every young person deserves a place where they are seen, supported, and encouraged to grow. The Brick House has been that place for hundreds of Boise teens since opening in 2021 — but we can’t do it alone.

Your donation, no matter the size, directly funds staff hours, supplies, meals, and the programs that make the Boise Brick House feel like home.
