Village Education Ambassador Program
Village Education Tutors Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is powered by Village Education Tutors.
We are champions for underserved low income students who are lacking in academic proficiency. We are raising awareness and funds to support programming geared towards improving Middle School Math proficiency using an E-learning one2one tutoring model administered by highly trained credentialed teachers.
Societal challenge we seek to address: Solve for closing the Math proficiency gap in US.
America has been facing an undiagnosed pandemic around the under investment in education of our youth, with significant challenges in national math proficiency that is more prevalent in our low income communities of color.
Our Nation's youth are 60-70% proficient in Math and in areas like Wilmington, DE, proficiency decreases to under 30%. Your support will make a difference in the lives of our youth and influence their future success - changing the trajectory of entire family outcomes.
Our goal of raising $20,000 will support one2one tutoring coaching services for 9 Ambassador Program students until December 2020. Our goal has been updated to only include those students we currently have in program.
It is our responsibility to take an active role in investing in the future of America, and there is no better opportunity than now given the increased awareness of racial injustices in our society and the increased challenges with education in the current covid-19 environment.
Frontline Dads has partnered with us to invest in this important work that is geared towards stopping the school to prison pipeline.
