SAVE PORKCHOP!!!!

PORKCHOP HAD ALL THE ODDS STACKED AGAINST HIM. BUT THIS AMAZING YORK COUNTY COMMUNITY SAID IT'S NOT OVER YET!

Porkchop, a shelter and volunteer favorite, collapsed at the shelter this past weekend. We put out for urgent rescue but rescue partners are overwhelmed right now with medical cases and weren't prepared to take on another case. Our volunteers were crushed. Our amazing vet kicked into gear and worked with a local ortho to get him a consult. And.... it was worse than we thought. Bilateral TPLO and Bilateral patella repair. This is one of the most damaged knees that they have seen. With rescue discount the surgery will cost $10,440 for both legs. He's on pain management but his struggling with basic mobility. How would we find a rescue, a local foster, and funding for surgery?? It seemed an impossible mountain to climb.

Well friends I'm here to tell you, PORKCHOP IS ONE LOVED NUGGET. We have found rescue commitment as long as we can raise funding to assist with surgery. Roberta Sá Griner worked tirelessly to begin fundraising and now found a local foster to get him through surgery. Tonight, I found an anonymous donor to help with a large chunk of the surgery. We need to raise just about $3500 more. All the rest has been covered!!! We can't believe it. Can you help save Porkchop??
