
Denys needs small bowel transplant to live
Denys Tereshchuk is a lovable 12-year old boy from a family of five in a little Ukrainian town.
He is diagnosed with an awful illness and we are collecting finances to help fund his surgery to save his life
History of Illness
Denys was born with congenital intestinal defect. All these years everything was well.
Lately, the disease reemerged and progressed, a gradual one-by-one unfinished bowel movement, a generalized erytania of the colon and small intestine, acute intestinal obstruction, swirling of the colon and small intestine, secondary thrombosis of mes-enteric vessels, serous hemorrhagic peritonitis, subtotal intestinal necrosis, multiple organ failure.
The intestine died away slowly (necrosis) and was removed it by parts, and he washed away further … until all was removed. Denys had 9 surgeries Denys, his mother and famous Ukrainian broadcaster Nikolai Tyshchenko

Present day situation
Denis is currently in Kiev hospital.He can not digest food as he lost 90 percent of his intestine .So he has to receive all his nutrients intravenously (IV), through a medication called total parenteral nutrition (TPN). Denys strong boy and he wants to live.Most of his time of the day he is on fluids. Very often he is watching videos people eating.Denys dreaming to come back to his normal life.In future he would like to start his own business and it will be restaurant he is saying.He require intestine transplantation.Every donation is one more step to bring his dream into reality.
In Ukraine transplant surgeries are not done. In the whole world, around 500 such surgeries have been done, they have been practiced for the last 5 years, and this is very small number.
Each of you has done a lot for Denys, and we are grateful to everyone.

What has already been done.
The total amount we have to collect for surgery and further rehabilitation is from $450000 to $550000. We have already fund raised $270000.
