Defend those that Defend Us!
We owe so much to the people who serve our communities and often put their lives on the line to protect ours. Their service was particularly important after this past awful year and the challenges of the pandemic.
People who serve in the military, as first responders in fire and emergency medical services, in law enforcement and in front-line healthcare all deserve our deepest gratitude.
Friends of the Upper Delaware River (FUDR) and Trout Unlimited (TU) have organized a Service Couples retreat and fly-fishing trip to the Upper Delaware River on June 6-11 for service personnel and their partners to honor their dedication to our welfare.
Your generous financial contribution for this event will support an all-expenses-paid, 5 night and 4 day retreat and fly fishing adventure in the beautiful western Catskills of New York state on the legendary Upper Delaware River
The stress and pain of this pandemic year has been terrible for us all. The outdoors, the river and the joys of fly-fishing are therapeutic and healing. The event we held in 2019, before the pandemic, was a great success. Couples who attended will fish together in the future, strengthening their shared pleasure and their bond.
