One of our foundation's most urgent financial need is for our Community Food & Diaper Pantry. Many children within our community face hunger as their family struggles with food insecurities. Recent data shows that in our area of Hampton Roads, Virgina that more than 98,500 people are projected to be food insure. In some areas we serve 1 in 4 children will go to bed hungry. On average our food pantry receives approximately 50 calls per day; with referrals from Virginia 211 (resources information center) and a host of social media sites that share information on resources for the community. Our food pantry has had a steady increase of clients serviced and due to lack of availability we have had to turn away clients who sought our services. In addition to our food pantry, we also host a diaper pantry which serves children and adult. We are a Greater Hampton Roads Diaper Bank Partner Agency. On average we distribute over 1,000 diapers per month to infants & toddlers in need. Additionally, we have issued over 100 adult diapers per month to those elderly & disabled clients in need.

Funding raised on GoFundMe will be utilized to purchase food, diapers and other household items for those in need. 100% of your donation goes directly to the program. 0% is utilized for administrative purposes. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for lower-income families and to assist them in acquiring the services they need to live with health, dignity, and stability. We provide a multitude of supportive service programs, which includes a food & diaper pantry, and referral services to partnering agencies within our community.

The mission of our community diaper pantry is to provide diapers to those children in need. Our diaper pantry services newborn, infants, toddlers in training, adults with disabilities and the elderly. Over 1,000 diapers per month are distributed within the Hampton Roads Community. Your donation can ensure that no child is without the basic necessity of diapers. Our community diaper pantry services the entire Hampton Roads area of Virginia (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and the Peninsula).
