Running to raise money for play equipment at Autism School
I have signed up to run the 5k race at the AEPG Great Eastern Run this October! (Not long to get ready, and I havent even been for a jog in years!) This is a challenge to get fit and do something for the kids at such a brilliant school, where my son Reuben attends.
Join me in making a difference for Autistic children who attend The Cavendish School in Impington Cambridgeshire. Over 100 children attend the school at a time, but this equipment will last for many years to come, benefitting many hundreds of children.
The children need outdoor equipment suitable for the bigger children who have outgrown the swing in the playground. By providing gym-style playground equipment, the children will be able to enjoy getting outside and enjoy the outdoors, exercise and support their therapeutic needs, helping to improve coordination difficulties.
The school need to raise a further £8,000 to purchase the outdoor play equipment and surrounding flooring needed. Any support will make a big difference and benefit hundreds of children over the equipment's lifetime.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to so many children.
