Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1990 to support the programs of the Jackson County Animal Shelter in Southern Oregon. 

With more than 200 active volunteers, our mission is to find loving fur-ever homes for adoptable dogs and cats, while promoting prevention of unwanted litters.

We also partner with like-minded non-profit organizations in our community to address the issues of over-population and animal welfare.
