Advocate for the protection and responsible management of the entire Split Oak Forest Wildlife and Environmental Area (SOFWEA) in Orange and Osceola Counties, its diverse ecosystems and the wildlife and plant communities they support. This includes advocating for and supporting regional environmental and land-use planning efforts. Increase awareness of SOFWEA, the social, environmental, and economic benefits that it provides, and issues affecting SOFWEA. Support responsible passive-recreation uses of SOFWEA. Conduct hikes and other educational and scientific activities in furtherance of the above mentioned purposes.
