Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control works to enrich and improve the lives of the animals in residence at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and find new, loving homes and families for abandoned and homeless pets in Sangamon County. Friends of SCAC subsidizes adoption fees, pays for medical care for pets in residence at SCAC-AC, and participates in community outreach to enhance awareness of SCAC-AC and the adoptable pets in residence there.
