Hello supporters of school education and community! We are a group of dedicated parents, caregivers, and friends of the Peabody school who come together to run a challenging and exhilarating 200-mile relay race. We do this not just for the thrill of the run, but as a passionate fundraiser for the Peabody school.

Our goal is simple: to raise funds that will directly benefit the educational experiences for our children. By participating in the Ragnar Relay, we combine our love for running with a shared commitment to teamwork, perseverance, and the best possible learning environment. Every step we take in this race is a stride towards supporting our school's programs, enhancing resources, and creating memorable experiences for our children. Your contribution will help fuel our journey, help us cover race expenses, and contribute to our $10,000 fundraising goal.

The mission of the Friends of Peabody (FoP) is to raise funds to enrich the Peabody School community, enhance educational activities, foster a strong and vibrant community, and highlight Peabody School students’ and staffs’ strengths, hard work and achievements.

Since 2017, a rotating, but dedicated and crazy group of Peabody School Parents, Aunts, Uncles, and Friends would spend Mother’s Day weekend running 200 miles to raise funds for our beloved school. We’ve raised over $30,000 since the team began racing. Even in May 2020, during everyone's favorite pandemic, we pulled in over $4,000 with the help of a bunch of new families and Peabody kids with a virtual run. Last year saw two teams digging in and running ultra distances! This year we return to Ragnar with a team of 12 parents who will run from Connecticut, across Rhode Island, and all the way to Quincy.

We do this insanity because we believe firmly in supporting the public education that is helping to prepare our children to be the leaders of tomorrow, and to support The Friends of the Peabody School (FoP). Please give what you can!

In pre-COVID days, a rotating, but dedicated and crazy group of Peabody School Parents, Aunts, Uncles, and Friends would spend Mother’s Day weekend running 200 miles to raise funds for our beloved school. We’ve raised over $21k since the team began racing. Even in the midst of the pandemic in May 2020, we pulled in over $4000 with the help of a bunch of new families and Peabody kids with a virtual run. Now, we're back for our first in-person run in three years!
