Ostomy Supplies for kids worldwide
As many of you already know, Crohns has played a large part in not only my life, but my late Grandmother's life and my cousin Cameron’s life. The past year and a half I have been living with an ileostomamy, which has required an ostomy bag. For those of you who don't know what that is, the best way to describe it is, a surgical operation in which a piece of my small intestine is diverted to an artificial opening in my abdoman so I can use the bathroom.
The good news is, I am scheduled to have this reversed on February 16th, 2018. Fortunately for me, I have great insurance that has allowed me to obtain these supplies at a very low cost. I have also been able to live a normal life just like everyone else!
I recently found out that there are kids (and adults) all over the world that don't have the same privilege
that I have and are left without the necessary supplies to live a quality life. To put this in perspective, if I didn't have access to these supplies, I wouldn't be able to hang out with friends and family or go to work - Really I wouldn't be able to do things a normal person can do. When I heard this, I was completely shook that people had to live like this—I truly can't even imagine. This has brought me to creating this GoFundMe.
The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to Friends of Ostomates Worldwide, which is an organization that collects donated ostomy supplies from people in the United States and then donates them to those in need all over the world. For more information, check out the website:

I set the goal to $2,000, which I think is very obtainable.
Even if you are only able to donate $1, it will go a long way!
