CCHS TENNIS CAPITAL CAMPAIGN - 2022
Hello tennis fans and CCHS community supporters!
It’s finally spring and the CCHS Tennis teams have started their long awaited-seasons!
Since early 2021, the Concord Carlisle High School Men’s and Women’s teams (with the help of many parents and tennis alums) have embarked on a major CCHS Tennis Capital Campaign to complete the laid out “Phase 1” projects to upgrade CCHS’ tennis court facility located on the public high school’s campus in Concord, MA. Upgrades will ultimately benefit not only the CCHS tennis teams, but also the greater community by maximizing the use of the courts for all to enjoy!
Thanks to the efforts and donations from participants of last year’s capital campaign, we have already raised close to ⅔ of the funds needed ($41,102 as of February 2022). Our completed Phase 1 projects include:
***Two permanent benches for players and spectators (should be installed this spring - on backorder)
***A storage shed to store gear, balls, and chairs (already installed!)
Our final project of Phase 1 includes an electric scoreboard to use during home matches and hopefully during local/state tournaments at CCHS! We anticipate that we will need to raise an additional $15,000+ to complete the project.
We sincerely hope that you will consider making a donation to help us fund the rest of our Phase 1 plan. If we end up raising more than the amount needed to finish Phase 1, we will automatically apply those funds to the Phase 2 goals: installing lighting for all 6 courts, as well as establishing reserve funds to maintain whatever needs may arise for the tennis court compound and teams.
There are several ways to show your support:
***Please consider donating through this GOFUNDME link (any donation amount is greatly appreciated!!)
***Please consider being a sponsor for our upcoming pickleball fundraising tournament on April 30th at CCHS from 8:00 AM-6 PM—as it’s already SOLD OUT! The players on the CCHS tennis teams will be volunteering all day to help run the event. We are currently sold out with 121 registered players, with a waiting list in several divisions! Spectators are welcome to attend for no cost! It should be a fun day!
Please email Robin Grace at [email redacted] if you'd like more details on sponsorship opportunities or if you have any questions regarding the tournament or campaign.
General tournament information can be found here: www.pickleballbrackets.com (then search under "CCHS" for the tournament listing)
