Frazier Revitalization Fundraiser
Those of you that know me know that I was born and raised here in Dallas and I’ve been a teacher and coach in this city for 20 years. I LOVE Dallas and I know how hard it’s been for many people in this city over this last year. With a constant flow of negative news it is uplifting to find positivity during these difficult times. My dear friend Yasmine Lockett and the dynamic people at Frazier Revitalization are doing absolutely incredible work. They are working in the heart of Frazier Courts which is located in one of the most at risk areas in Dallas. They provide after school services to over fifty kids ages 4-15. This program feeds the kids on a daily basis after school while providing a safe and loving environment that offers academic tutoring, art instruction, sports programs, summer camps, life skills training, technology training, household assistance and they are also advocates who connect families with much needed services and resources. All of the children participating in the program are held to a high academic standards and are provided with the resources they need to meet those standards. These people are not merely giving out fish they are teaching their fellow man how to fish and uplifting their entire community in the process. With the pandemic and the recent historic winter storm their budget which is made up almost entirely of donations has taken a tremendous hit. Which is why I am appealing to you and requesting your financial support of this life changing program. This organization does not need a hand out, it needs a hand up! They have been working very hard for years in a chronically under serviced and under resourced area of Dallas and they will go on working very very hard for many more years. Your donation can greatly assist with that work and in a very real sense your dollars will not only immediately change lives, your donation will save lives! Thank you in advance for your donation may God bless you.
