Thieves Stole Our Drive, Not Our Hearts
Three wheelchair lift vans and one 12-passenger van were made inoperable this past weekend when their catalytic converters were stolen! The Olean Center serves individuals, aged 3 through adulthood, with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many rely on these vans because they are unable to use traditional vehicles.
We need our vans back on the road--and your support to keep them there. The Olean Center promotes independence and inclusion. For that, you need special wheels!
The vans are vital for our clients. The vans enable them to be active community members—to volunteer, work, do something fun with friends, or meet basic needs such as grocery shopping. Our hope is to raise funds to cover transportation and security needs.
