FRANCISCAN HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN

Hi everyone! My name is Chris DeMarkey and I am a senior at Holliston High School here in Massachusetts. This story is a bit personal, but I feel as though it may be able to help others. For most of my life I have struggled with anxiety and later on, OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder). When my Junior Year at Holliston came around the corner, the severity of my anxiety and OCD were at their peak. And although therapy had helped, I found myself more and more isolated, and too ashamed to share with others what was going on. In dire need of help, my dad drove me to Milford Regional Hospital on December 6th 2017 and went voluntarily inpatient to Arbour-Fuller Hospital in South Attleboro, MA. Through treatment and guidance from close loved ones, I have been able to fight back what has given me and so many others trouble and stress. Although it hasn't been smooth sailing, the experiences and help I was able to get I will never forget and always be thankful for.  Any and all donations will go towards Franciscan Children's located right outside Boston. Franciscan Children's Hospital specializes in adolescent inpatient mental health treatment, and is one of the best in Massachusetts. If a donation is not possible, just spreading the message of hope and perseverance to any loved one, friend, or stranger can go a long way! In the end, the greatest wealth any person can have is their well-being:))
