Nashville Chess Center Building Repairs

The Nashville Chess Center’s headquarters at 2911 Belmont Blvd is in need of some massive repairs. Tree branches came down on top of our rental property and the entire roof has to be replaced. Also, the hackberry tree causing the damage has to be removed (it’s like 60 feet tall). There is also interior damage to the ceiling.
The NCC building itself has water leaks caused by the flashings around the chimney. That water damage from the February rains has now leaked down into the bottom and 2nd floor of the club. So there are massive exterior and interior repairs.
The insurance company is only offering to cover about 10% of the total repairs.
Without the help of the community, the NCC will have to consider accessing its endowment or possibly end one of the days we are open to cut down on employee expenses and these repair costs drastically hurt our ability to reach as many middle-TN school students as possible.
We appreciate any help you can provide!
