Covid-19 relief fund for Tajik Ismailis
We are the volunteers of the Foundation for a Better Life (FBL) because of the worldwide covid-19 pandemic thousands of people are unemployed and do not have food supplies to take care of their families. Our work will be focused in Tajikistan to support the ultra poor families to get through this crisis by supplying them the basic food supplies. Currently, there are more than 250000 ismailis in Tajikistan and majority of them are facing financial difficulties especially during this covid-19 pandemic, and our mission is to get together and help our brothers and sisters who really need our support.
FBL as a non-profit organization and tax deducted in the USA since establishment 2010 it is in the business of alleviating poverty through vocational training, education and micro- enterprises.
Our group consist of:
Jalal Sultan, from Atlanta, Georgia, the chairman of the Foundation for a Better Life.
Umed Qurbonbekov from Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Currently doing his Future Leaders Exchange program(FLEX) in Atlanta, Georgia.
Gulmamadov Sojidin from Khorog, Tajikistan. Currently doing his Future Leaders exchange program (FLEX) in Iowa, USA.
