About Forward Stride

Forward Stride enhances quality of life through equine-assisted activities and therapies. Using the healing power of horses, Forward Stride builds lasting relationships, confidence, and new skills. Our programs work together to provide exceptional care, therapy, and support to all participants, human and equine. Everyone has challenges in life. We encourage each person to face them head on with the support of our herd and fellow humans. Along the way, emotional, cognitive, and physical milestones are reached and lifelong friendships are forged. Since 2003, Forward Stride has touched the lives of more than 2,000 people. Currently, we serve approximately 270 participants per week. Sixty percent have been with us since inception and more than 38 percent have been with us for over five years.
