Support the Tiny Forest in the Desert
We believe everyone has a role to play in regenerating the Earth.
And that caring for the planet isn't just an option...it's our duty.
In 2021, we planted a single tree in the Mojave Desert. As of 2025, we're now up to .25-acres. That's over 10,800 square feet of trees, wildflowers, grasses, herbs, and other types of plants.
Now, we're asking for your help to keep it growing. Here's what you can do to help:
- Volunteer: We host planting parties (like RE:GROW LA ) in the spring and fall. You can also come up on the weekends to water, sow seeds, move mulch, build structures, or clean trash.
- Donate: We're a 100% volunteer-led nonprofit. That means we rely on donations from individuals like you. (Hopefully, we can tap into philanthropic and institutional funds to change that.)
- Share: Our supporters contribute to our success in ways we will never fully comprehend. By sharing our story, reposting our links, and even telling your friends and family in person about "the Tiny Forest in the Desert," you are helping us grow this project into something beyond all of us.

For Every Star, A Tree is a nonprofit ecofarm that's on a mission to cultivate desertified land into a thriving oasis.
We've raised over $12,000.64 through individual donations and overnight camping stays at our glampsite, the Starry Night Skoolie.
Our goal is to reach $20,000 in 2025.
We're 60% of the way there. With your help, we'll be able to maintain, expand, and grow the Tiny Forest into a sustainable oasis of healing, respite, and refuge.
