La Luz de Isaiah Medical & Dental Clinic
LA LUZ DE ISAIAH CHILDREN’S MEDICAL & DENTAL CLINIC
This GoFundMe is in loving memory of a boy with a heart big enough to teach us all a little more about the joys of embracing who we are with no apologies – Isaiah was only 13 years old when heaven realized it could no longer live without his infectious smile, his sweet innocence, and beautiful sense of humor. When Isaiah was born, his mother Mona vowed to instill kindness and empathy in his heart in hopes that he would one day make a difference in this world. Unknowingly at the time, she would be receiving 13 years of lessons in kindness and empathy from him as he was naturally gifted with so much of it already in his heart. His mother Mona, stepfather Dave, and stepbrother Ayden were blessed to feel Isaiah’s boundless love every day in their lives. And those who knew Isaiah well, or even briefly, were incredibly touched by his selfless and giving nature. Though our hearts may never understand heaven’s timing for Isaiah’s earthly departure, we are standing in faith for his memory to forever live on not only in the hearts that were blessed to know him, but also in the hundreds of lives that will be impacted by the funds raised in his honor. Please consider giving any amount towards building La Luz de Isaiah Children’s Medical & Dental Clinic. The funds will go directly to helping Footsteps Missions (a 501(c)3 international nonprofit organization) build this clinic in rural Honduras.
Forty percent of Honduran children are malnourished and are unable to access affordable medical attention, accounting for more than half their deaths. In recognizing the need, Footsteps Missions currently runs two children’s centers in Honduras that serves over 100 economic orphans from desperate backgrounds: some have no parents, others may have a single mom or guardian but lack the resources to provide their children with basic needs like food, clean water, clothes, and money to pay for a public education; most children, before being a part of Footsteps Missions, have never owned a toothbrush or been seen by a doctor since birth. La Luz de Isaiah Children’s Medical & Dental Clinic will directly serve the medical and dental needs of all the Footsteps Missions children as well as impoverished families in surrounding communities that cannot afford quality and timely health care. This clinic will not only help to medically save lives, but will be a part of Footsteps Missions holistic programs to help provide impoverished children with nutritious meals, clean water, clothing, academic support and spiritual development to become strong, positive leaders in their homes and communities.
Though Isaiah was not given the opportunity to meet the children his life will greatly impact, they will all know how big his precious heart was and will feel the presence of his angel wings upon them every day. Your support of any amount can help make this happen. We thank you in advance for your prayers and generosity in helping Mona’s vision come to life of Isaiah’s loving heart making a difference in this world.
