About Focus Fairies Mentoring, NFP
Focus Fairies Mentoring, a community-based organization in Chicago's West and South sides, aims to uplift and support young women and girls of color aged 7-21 who have experienced vicarious trauma and violence. We aim to empower these young women and girls by providing the tools and support they need to build positive self-concepts, heal from childhood trauma, and maintain healthy relationships. Through structured mentorship, Focus Fairies Mentoring seeks to empower young women and girls, helping them discover themselves, achieve academic success, and grow personally. Our comprehensive services encompass health literacy, youth dev., workforce development, and violence reduction. T
