We ask you to join us in supporting our crazy talented Asian artists in programs that highlight Asian perspectives and their diverse creative talents.

We believe that Asian American artists and their stories need to be heard and be cherished more than ever. We recommend $20 but welcome any amount. We sincerely thank you for the support!

Crazy Talented Asians & Friends (CTAF) is a community-led program series dedicated to works by Asian Americans and their friends—to showcase the diverse creativity and impact this community has to offer, while bringing together families, friends, and audiences from different backgrounds to celebrate their stories.

Produced by the CTAF team and presented by Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts, dba Flushing Town Hall (FTH), a member of NYC’s Cultural Institutions Group (CIG) and a Smithsonian Affiliate, please join us at the 5th Animation Festival for Short Films and Motion Graphics - "Big Screen. Mixer Party. Meet the Judges." on Friday, December 6th at 6pm for the screening, and at 7:30pm for drinks and snack at the mixer party.

The Festival will showcase a dozen or so creative animation short films by Asian/Asian American animators. These films are selected from over a thousand of films submitted to this specific event. They tell a wide range of stories and experiences in outstanding art direction, storytelling, animation, production, and sound design—as diverse and talented as the Asian American community itself. The event will be streamed live on YouTube as well as in person at the historic Flushing Town Hall.

Your financial support will go a long way for CTAF and Flushing Town Hall. Flushing Town Hall’s mission is to provide global arts for a global community. The organization restores, manages, and programs the landmark building in Flushing, Queens, NYC. Your gift will fund CTAF programs, including the honorarium for the artists, marketing and production costs.

Hey everyone - I am running the Spartan Trifecta and I am proud to do so to support Flushing Town Hall (or the Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts)! As an immigrant growing up in Queens, arts and music played a role in cultivating my identity and a sense of belonging. I am pleased to be able to give back to the community by supporting Flushing Town Hall, a critical cultural institution that fosters mutual appreciation for multi-disciplinary global arts on behalf of all of New York.

What is the Spartan Trifecta? Someone who completes the Spartan Trifecta must have completed three different Spartan Race distances (Sprint, Super, Beast) within a single year.

(Just for fun, I also ran a second Spartan Sprint in Bethel NY on June 17 and a City Challenge in Hoboken on July 29.)
