Thanks to so many of you, we have accomplished our goal! Between the gofundme and a few offline donations, we did it! We are now closing the campaign. God has an amazing way of orchestrating events, all in His timing…
Several months ago, Gary, Cindy & Maya heard of an opportunity to visit the Holy Land with their home church of Passion City. For obvious reasons, it was difficult for them to make a commitment so far in advance so they waited… Fast forward to just a few days ago when Gary, Cindy & Maya recognized the ‘time is now’ to take this trip planned for October 21st – 30th (less than one month away). Maya just completed 2 weeks of radiation and with her next round of chemo mostly taken orally, we believe the door has opened to take such a meaningful trip.
On so many occasions, Gary, Cindy & Maya have heard the words, “how can we help?”. Well, we’ve helped them identify a way by supporting their trip to the Promise Land. Most of you reading this likely know Maya and have witnessed her supernatural faith that has only strengthened through her journey. Connecting her faith with the places where Jesus walked and ministered through His life would be such a blessing. And to have friends and family support them in this journey both financially and through prayer would be simply incredible.
Gary, Cindy & Maya agreed to us making this request – as we truly believe that supporting this gift through friends and family would make this journey that much more memorable. This ‘Go Fund Me’ page is the first step in this journey to financially assist with your donation going directly towards their airfare, lodging, transportation, meals and tours.
How to donate?
In an effort to get this done quickly, we determined this Go Fund Me site would be the quickest and easiest way to facilitate donations.
Your donation is tax deductible and your receipt will be generated once completed. Thanks to Fish and Loaves, a 501c3, non-profit for graciously agreeing to partner with us.
PLEASE NOTE!! The Gofundme platform no longer charges a fee for their services. It will however, ask you to provide a "tip" in the checkout process. This "tip" will be pre-populated to an additional 15% of your gift but can be changed to 0 or any other number.
The Lord has so many ways of ‘showing up’ and Gary, Cindy & Maya have never wavered in looking up! Thank you in advance for making a donation. In addition, we ask that you pray that their health, strength, courage and faith will be energized and restored as they continue their journey.
