Summer Reading Challenge
During this time of Covid-19, the team at Phillis Wheatley Community School has been committed to making sure our students still have access to a great education. With summer upon us and libraries closed throughout the city, our children won't have access to the books that are so critical to preventing summer learning loss.
However, our team at Wheatley has built an online library and is committed to delivering books to our students across the city for the entirety of the summer! If we can raise enough money and/or get enough donated books we can ensure that nearly 850 pre-k through 8th graders get a book each week for the summer.
