About First in Family Fund

The mission of the First in Family Fund is to expand equitable access to higher education by providing no-cost, evidence-based academic tutoring, enrichment, mentorship, and college readiness programming for students who will be the first in their families to attend college. Grounded in a commitment to educational equity, cultural responsiveness, and measurable outcomes, FIFF equips historically underrepresented students with the tools, skills, and support networks necessary to achieve college admission, persistence, and graduation. Through strategic partnerships with schools, families, and communities, FIFF fosters academic excellence, leadership development, and career exposure opportunities, ensuring that students not only enter higher education but also thrive through completion.
