Classical Music Indy’s mission is to inspire people in the community with the power of classical music. Founded in 1968, Classical Music Indy (CMI) has provided over 50 years of free classical music to greater Indianapolis and is the leading classical music content creator for the local music economy. CMI’s vision is to be the most accessible provider of high-quality classical music opportunities for artists and audiences in Central Indiana. This vision inspires unique content offerings, innovative distribution channels, opportunities for historically underrepresented artists, strategic collaborations, and authentic audience development by engaging exceptional staff and artistic talent in co-developed programming.
