NY Marathon: Fill Your Bucket List
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am running the NYC marathon for Fill Your Bucket List Foundation on November 4th. The Fill Your Bucket List Foundation grants wishes to adults with cancer to make lifelong dreams come true with the mission to to make a difference by instilling hope during the cancer journey and creating priceless memories.
I know that many of us have had personal stories of friends, family members and even personal stories on how cancer has had an impact on our lives. My story is that I have lost loved ones to cancer and had several others that have fought bravely into remission. I have also spent most of my adult life partnering with researchers to bring new options to cancer patients. This personal note made it incredibly easy to want to give back to a cancer organization.
I have a real passion for what the Fill Your Bucket List Foundation contributes to the cancer community. They focus on trying to make dreams come true for these patients who are fighting such a terrible disease. This has inspired me to run the NYC marathon to try to raise money to contribute to more wishes being granted. The foundation has granted 28 wishes this year, each wish unique and special to its recipient to guarantee this special event.
