Meals by Grace Coat Drive.
Hello everyone! This is Kyra.
As you may know, our family has volunteered at Meals by Grace for quite a while now by sorting food, making laundry soap, and delivering food to families on Sundays. Right now, I am invested in helping Meals by Grace families to be ready for the cold weather.
For those who may not know, Meals by Grace is a no-cost-meal-program focused on helping feed children and their families. Generally, these families have been identified as having a special need by School System Social Workers, Social Workers, and or Church or Community leaders. These families experience frequent food insecurity or are working to overcome a major health or work loss event.
My family has been blessed with the opportunity to meet and get to know so many special, sweet families who are served by Meals by Grace. It is truly a blessing and a privilege to be able to help. So, would you and/or your business consider donating to this GoFundMe so we can ensure all kids get a coat to stay warm in the upcoming cold days? They are still really short on coats for teen girls. If I complete this goal of $750,00, we can get around 28 coats! To know that I will be going to school warm with a coat on my back and not knowing those families will have the same if we don’t help, it is heartbreaking. And, if by any chance when we are done with this fundraiser they have received more girls' coats, they can use the money "left over" to support the overall meals by grace organization by buying more canned goods.
