Cleon Township is at 66% working poor (ALICE) group in Manistee, MI County. Feed your Soul and Community Resources was implemented to help the area. Our food pantry/ baby pantry/and resources for help with just getting by,,,
We are here to help; but need money to benefit this group. With Feeding America West, United Way Manistee, MI, Food Access Strategy Team (FAST), Echo of Manistee, and so many more, our hearts are devastated for families who have to choose between food or electric, medicine or food.
Some grants and resources we did have -have tightened or closed
We are here to help, but cannot do that without- your -help now.
We need to pay a small fee for food for our distribution day, We also need to buy a new refrigerator/freezer So we can get cold storage-We need to supply families with the fundamental resources to help them help themselves.
Last month we gave out to over 90 families resources along with food.
We can do more with a refrigerator/freezer
We can do so much more,
but now we need more help to do this.
Please help us help hardworking families so they are able to help themselves. This is not a handout - but a hand up.
- Every Senior, every person on unemployment, every person who has lost a job and is looking hard to find one, Every single mom who's car has a flat tire, every person who's disability is keeping them home. So many reasons they need a little help;
