Running My First Marathon for the FDNY Foundation
I never considered myself a runner. In fact, I didn’t start running at all until February of this year. But what began as a simple way to challenge myself has turned into a journey I never expected—one that’s now leading me to run the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon.
This will be my very first marathon, and I’m proud to be doing it in support of the FDNY Foundation. Running 26.2 miles through the five boroughs will be one of the biggest challenges of my life—but I’m taking it on with purpose, determination, and deep respect for the cause I’m running for.
I’m honored to be running in support of the FDNY Foundation, which helps fund critical training, equipment, fire safety education, and wellness programs for the firefighters and first responders who protect New York City every single day. These brave individuals run toward danger when others run away, and supporting them through this race gives my miles a greater purpose.
I’ve committed to raising $5,000, and I’m asking for your support to help me get there. Whether you can donate $5 or $50, every contribution makes a difference—not just to me, but to the FDNY and the communities they serve.
