Family Services Network of NY

FSNI - Family Services Network International was tasked with sending aide to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria in November 2017.  We were able to help the people with essentials like water, food, clothing, furniture, adult care items, female hygiene items, and baby items just to name a few. 

We spent one week visiting families in 11 different cities across the island and created relationships with several nursing homes, and local relief centers/non-profits.  The goal was to create a network of individuals and organizations who we could partner with to provide aide in a more efficient manner during the second phase of our project.   

All of the funds donated will go to providing aide to the people of Puerto Rico.  FSNNY will be sponsoring the transportation cost which allows for us to use 100% of the proceeds for the people of Puerto Rico! 

Our goal on the first trip was to raise $3000 and we accomplished it thanks to the support of so many people who heard about our campaign. 

This time we want to raise $10,000!!! 

We are looking to provide relief for the families who were located in areas difficult to reach.  We realized on our first trip that some people had water and lights, but there were so many who did not.  Not to mention the others who were too far to get anything (including government aide).  We want to provide aide to those that can't be reached conventionally.  

Our Phase 2 trip will be set for June and late August.  We thank you in advance for helping us give back to Puerto Rico and will keep you posted on our mission as we continue to prepare!

Our non-profit organization is collecting donations to provide aid in the aftermath of the recent destructive hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. From an economic standpoint, hurricane Harvey is the second most costly natural disaster following hurricane Katrina (2005). We are taking on the task of providing meals for families that have been displaced and forced out of their homes. I am personally traveling to Texas next month (Columbus Day/Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend) to start off this project and support the rescue, recovery and clean up operations in the Houston area.

Millions of Puerto Ricans are without power, water and shelter. Upon research, finding a way into the country to provide aid has proven to be quite difficult.  Some of our workers in Brooklyn are not able to contact their family members. We are trying our best to locate and provide resources to them directly. They need everything from clothing, water, food to personal hygiene products and medical care. We will be collecting physical donations at 1420 Bushwick Ave, Brooklyn NY 11207 Attn: Special Projects. These funds will be used to purchase goods for families in need.

If you have not donated to any causes so far, please consider donating to this one. Unlike some other organizations, we do not need funds to pay our staff. Our employees will be donating their time, resources and personal finances to provide aid in these areas that have suffered much loss and devastation in the recent weeks. What we need from you is your support in helping communities that depend on our intervention.

Our goal is $2000 but there is no maximum. We will distribute everything we collect in the short time we have to take action. This will all take place in a few weeks so time is our only constraint. We can all represent for humanity by helping to provide for families that have lost everything. Thank you in advance for your contributions in supporting this mission.
