My name is Richard Schumann, and I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of Family & Community Services of Somerset County (FCSSC).

For over 60 years, FCSSC has been at the heart of supporting individuals and families in our community, offering mental health and substance use disorder services to those in need. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Bound Brook, NJ, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality care, regardless of their financial situation.

At FCSSC, we accept Medicaid, Medicare, most major insurances, and offer a sliding scale for those who may be facing financial challenges. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we are able to ensure that no one is turned away because of an inability to pay.
