Donate to Support Fallen Walls' Mission
Hi everyone! My name is Sarah McKenney, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me. Fallen Walls does incredible work, and I’ve seen firsthand how much of an impact they make in the lives of others.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.
If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to me.

Based on Ephesians 2:10, we know that God has prepared specific good work for each of us before we were even born. At Fallen Walls, we want to spark the imagination of the disabled community,
Who is Daniel Harris?
written by Dr. Daniel Aaron Harris
"My name is Dr. Daniel Aaron Harris, and in 2002 I founded Fallen Walls in downtown Memphis, TN. For over 20 years, I’ve walked the streets of my city, ministering through presence, prayer, and relationship. Whether feeding the homeless or building friendships in coffee shops, I’ve always sought to share the love and grace of Christ that first changed my life.
In 2008, a mission trip with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) to New York City stirred something deeper in me. At the same time, I was being shaped by the work of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) and disability theology, which helped me understand that my body wasn’t a mistake**—but a reflection of God's intentional design.
That realization transformed how I saw myself: not just a man with cerebral palsy, but a cerebral palsy man—called, equipped, and sent.
In 2021, I earned my Doctor of Ministry (DMin) from Western Theological Seminary. My dissertation explored disability and vocation in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Now, I believe God is calling me to take the next step: Centering Fallen Walls in New York City."
Why New York City?
NYC is calling. With its accessibility, rich diversity, and vibrant arts scene, the city is uniquely suited for this next chapter of Fallen Walls.
God has been leading Daniel toward New York since 2008. The time has come to answer that call.
Fallen Walls plans to plant our first disability-led church in NYC by 2028—a model community that reflects God’s Kingdom and paves the way for similar efforts across the U.S. and the world.
Moving Date: Spring 2026
Before the Move:
- Build a financial support team for the first 3 years.
- Gather prayer and emotional support for the transition.
- Strengthen ties with NYC ministry networks, disability advocates, and artists.
- Take 2–3 exploratory trips to NYC with friends to pray, connect, and plan.
- Settle into life in the city and build community through presence.
- Serve on the streets and in neighborhoods, just as Daniel has done in Memphis.
- Continue his work in the disability arts and entertainment world.
- Share Daniel's story through online platforms, writing, and speaking.
- Launch small groups and leadership development.
- Lay the foundation for a disability-led house-church plant by 2028.
How Can You Help?
We are seeking support in four key areas:
- Prayer - Join our prayer team and receive regular updates. Your intercession sustains us. Jesus promised that those who ask, seek, and knock will find open doors—we are believing for nothing less.
- Financial Support - We need to raise 75,000 in order for Daniel to move by SPRING 2026. This will be for him to cover the first 6 months living expenses as well as trips needed before the move and expenses of moving.
- Encouragement - This work is hard. A simple message, a visit, or even a meme can remind him that he's not alone. Encouragement breathes life when the weight of ministry feels heavy.
- Spread the Word - Share this vision with your church, small group, or social circle. Invite others to pray, give, or go. We need people from all walks of life to join us in breaking down walls and building bridges.
- Together, We Can Build Something Beautiful
Fallen Walls NYC isn’t just about starting a house-church; it’s about igniting a movement. A movement that says disability is not a barrier to ministry, but a calling into it.
