Facing History and Ourselves Inc

I am doing a 2-mile (3.2km) ocean swim at Key West, Florida on June 12, 2021 to raise much needed funds for Facing History and Ourselves. Thank you in advance for supporting a cause that means a lot to me. 

Facing History and Ourselves rolls out a professional development model to help educators address troubling and historically rooted disparities in society. This includes courses for students on Democracy & Civic Engagement, Race in US History, Antisemitism & Religious Intolerance and Bullying & Ostracism. 

Funding goes directly towards content development and teacher training in order to achieve goals of both recognizing racism and bigotry, and eradicating it. For example, educators are trained to show students how to communicate across differences and commit to a common good, making them into more informed, thoughtful and productive individuals.
