The Autauga-Prattville Alabama Library board has fired the library director for refusing to move or remove 113 books that they feel are "inappropriate". The rest of the staff did something heroic in solidarity with their colleague: they walked out, locked up the library, and said No to this unethical board action. Then, the board fired four more staff members. We need your help now to save this library from its own board and protect the staff in their stand for what is right.

The EveryLibrary Institute is a non-profit charitable partner supporting the right to read, anti-discrimination efforts, and the people who work in libraries.
