To help to prevent the HIV transmission from mother to child and to provide psychosocial support to enhance the quality of life in women, adolescents and children infected with HIV/AIDS and their families. Our organization is 100% binational working in both sides of the border from California and Baja California. One fence separate us from our families in each side but doesn't mean our heart can work together to help the most vulnerable population in Baja Mexico. The women and children infected and affected with HIV/AIDS in a community that is 25 years behind us, the people living in the United States. With no resources like the Ryan White Care Act or simple as the WIC Programs, Baja California does not have these opportunities to offer our families in Tijuana, Rosarito and Tecate. Many of us commute every single day for work or for school purposes, many others travel to beautiful Baja to enjoy Baja style lobster dinners, the wine country in Valle de Guadalupe or many like me to enjoy the tacos and the excitment of the world well known off racing BAJA 1000. One fence can't stop the spread of HIV/AIDS. It is time to give back to the most needed and to help to erradicate the discrimination of this horrible disease.ONE FENCE CAN't STOP US! As a binational non-profit organization, we also serve grieving families in San Diego that at one point in their lives lost a child from complications of AIDS and the system forgot about them. Es Por Los Ninos is open to hear those mothers coping with their loss.
