As I celebrate 40 beautiful years of my life, I wish my father was here with me to celebrate. Unfortunately, I suddenly lost him a couple of years ago to a very lethal cancer. I have been blessed with a wonderful family, friends, co-workers and well-wishers, so instead of receiving gifts, I ask you to Please join me in making a difference.

More information about Esophageal Cancer Action Network, Inc: ECAN's mission is to Save Lives by increasing awareness about the link between Reflux Disease and Cancer, promoting early detection, and supporting medical innovation to prevent, detect, treat and cure Esophageal Cancer and linking patients and families to compassionate support. Pushing for critical Esophageal Cancer research, ECAN convinced NCI to include EC in its groundbreaking cancer genome mapping project. In addition, ECAN began EC Awareness Month and campaigns to raise awareness that Reflux can cause Cancer.

Braden’s papa, Gary Ettelman, bravely fought esophageal cancer. Braden is raising money to help others battling this disease, to raise awareness about esophageal cancer, and to contribute to research in fighting this terrible disease. Thank you for contributing and helping Braden to honor Gary’s memory!
