The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (In Latin: Ordo Equestris Sancti Sepulcri Hierosolymitani) is one of the original few and most ancient chivalric Orders of Knighthood of the Holy See and the Vatican City State. We trace our historically documented lineage directly back to the establishment of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem in 1099. Originally created as an association of knights under arms, today's Order is strictly non-violent and apolitical. We advocate for those in need through prayer, programs of education and economic empowerment, the promotion of human rights, and by financially sustaining the charitable work of the Roman Catholic Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem in the Holy Land. Our work is undertaken for the good of all peoples of the Holy Land.
