Episcopal Relief (ERD) - Zambia Early Childhood
Dear friends:
I am honored to be invited to participate on a Lenten pilgrimage in Africa with one of my favorite charities, an organization that is empowering and helping people around the world: Episcopal Relief and Development. I will join the ERD president Dr. Rob Radtke and the Rev. Gay Clark Jennings with 12 other supporters as we learn firsthand about the positive difference ERD is making in collaboration with the Zambia Anglican Council Outreach programs. Specifically, we will be making site visits to the extraordinarily effective Early Childhood and Women's Empowerment programs in Zambia. Through integrated programming, ZACOP and ERD are providing ciritical care and support for vulnerable families with young children. The program focuses on strengthening the role of parents and primary caregivers in nurturing care and stimulation of their children while supporting families to improve health, nutrition and livelihoods.

I invite you to join me in a special fundraiser I am conducting to support ERD in Zambia while I'm there. Because I believe in the mission and effectiveness of ERD, one of the most effective charities anywhere, I have set a challenging goal of raising $5,000 for ERD before Easter.
