The mission of Epic Warriors includes raising awareness for those suffering from the "Invisible Wounds of War" and other service-connected injuries, offering a forum for veterans to help other veterans, and enlisting the public's support of America's Epic Warriors. Because our founders are experienced pilots who have flown in support of wounded warriors while in combat, we understand that the first step in reversing the trend of veteran suicides involves healing the Invisible Wounds. Among other things, we network with other volunteer pilots to offer incentive flights to wounded warriors for both therapeutic benefits as well as for needed transportation. We also network with other veteran service organizations to help provide wounded warriors with the help they need. Epic Warriors, Inc., assists wounded warriors with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), commonly referred to as the "Invisible Wounds of War," as well as other service-connected injuries. You do not have to be a veteran to join our cause. We welcome anyone willing to support our efforts to help raise awareness of wounded warriors with service-connected injuries, including the Invisible Wounds of War. As of 2010, an average of 22 U.S. veterans are lost every day to suicide, which equals about one suicide every 65 minutes. Five or more of those suicides every day occur in veterans under direct supervision of the Veterans Administration. Something has to be done now in order to avoid any further tragic losses. By educating each other, we can reverse this trend. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
