HELPING ANCHOR HOUSE
My name is John Eddings and I serve as the president of Ephesians 4:28 Ministries, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help troubled children and adults. To learn more about us you can go to our website at https://eph428.org/ .
We acquired the truck you can see in this picture to fill our need for a ministry vehicle. It will provide service to us in several areas, but its primary use will be in helping the men at Anchor House. Anchor House is a Christian Residential Transition Program in Lake Worth, Florida that provides housing and a Christian Leadership Program for men who are released from prison. We love what we are doing, and we want to see our men succeed. Being convicted felons, they sometimes have a difficult time finding employment. Our goal is to establish a landscaping business to help provide employment for them and we must have a truck to put this plan together.
Please help us pay for this truck. It is a 2005 Ford Ranger with only 97,000 miles on it, which is exceptionally good for its age. Its engine runs well, and we have updated its condition by adding new tires, brakes, battery, battery cables, repacked the bearings, and more. The cost of the truck, the tag & title, and all the work we added to it, plus one year of full coverage insurance for it, comes to $5,700.00 (we have receipts for everything which we will gladly share with anyone who would like to see them). This is money well spent because we have a truck in good condition that with good maintenance will serve us well for several years to come.
