As I approach 10 years seizure free in December 2023, I am devoting this year to telling my story, spreading epilepsy awareness & raising money for Empowering Epilepsy. Empowering Epilepsy’s mission is to show people with epilepsy and their loved ones what they CAN do to take charge of their lives. Founded by people with epilepsy, for people with epilepsy, we are dedicated to creating a proactive, seizure controlling, preventative respite center and community for people with epilepsy and their loved ones. We provide free or low-cost programs, services, resources, and support to discover what we can do while living with seizures. Many people with epilepsy live with their seizures alone...... they have never met or talked with anyone else who also experiences epilepsy and seizures.
