In the US alone, the terrible crime of sex trafficking happens as often 2 minutes or less.
Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion, a hidden crime that steals freedom for profit, and victims rarely come forward to seek help because of language barriers, fear of the traffickers, and/or fear of law enforcement. Their voices are silenced, THEY NEED YOUR HELP.
It also means some are probably being enslaved very close to your house for Porn and prostitution. 7 years is the average life expectancy of female victims of sex trafficking.
This fundraising event is powered by people coming together to bring an end to sexual exploitation and trafficking by helping fund an established organization active in this field and later stay involved in funding 3 main causes with it:
1. Freeing people - A future for every survivor.
2. Raise public awareness to the topic.
3. Promotes a change in legislation and enforcement.
Each person has the right for wholeness and self-sustainability with dignity and honor and this fundraising event helps by meeting a survivors’ needs, where they find themselves.
