Elevate A Girl Foundation Inc

Elevate A Girl Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization that was created in 2015 in the United States of America by Judith Lesika and Joan Ng'ongolo Kaijage to fight poverty in Tanzania by extending educational opportunities to underprivileged girls through education. The increased educational opportunities help to position the girls to attend a four-year university hence paving a way for better careers and economic prosperity for themselves, their families and the nation. The foundation focuses on providing scholarships for girls who are pursuing science subjects and interested in STEM fields. Our mission is derived from the Swahili word 'Inua' which means elevate: Inspire, Nurture talent, Uplift & Activate change. Our vision is rooted in the belief that if you educate a girl, you educate a nation. By providing financial aid to poor yet talented girls, we are helping to give them access to quality education and equal access to opportunities that will enable them to succeed in life.
