Help El Dorado Archers Maintain Public Range
We are El Dorado Archers, a dedicated archery club based in Long Beach, CA, at the historic site of the 1984 Olympic Archery Competition. Since 1985, we have proudly taught archery to the community, offering everything from introductory safety classes to advanced training, along with our JOAD program and shooting club. Our club has a unique agreement with the city of Long Beach: in exchange for waiving permit fees for a private field, we are responsible for maintaining the target bales on the public practice field, which benefits countless archers.
Over the years, we've funded these bales through our affordable weekend classes, charging just $5 per person. However, the cost of these bales has skyrocketed recently, making it nearly impossible for us to cover the expenses. The total cost for replacing all 21 target bales is $9,500.
We are reaching out to our archery community and supporters for help. We need to replace the bales by Sunday, September 22, 2024, and your contribution will ensure that our public range remains a top-notch facility for everyone. Every dollar raised through this GoFundMe will go directly towards the purchase of new bales. If you prefer, you can also stop by our table on Saturdays at the range to make a donation in person.
El Dorado Archers, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization (Tax ID #27-2566221), and your donation may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for details.
